After sampling the local tea brew on Lantau, we headed over to Cheung Chau Island, home to the Cheung Chau Bun Festival. Again, I was about a month early for that, so all they were getting ready for was the Tin Hua Festival, and if you have seen one bamboo scaffolding- you have seen them all, so here is the beach of Cheung Chau. This is where the shark prevention net was taken down, hence the sign at the front of the homepage. I laughed so hard at that, and Betty could not see the humor in the sign! I guess that shows you how pragmatic the Chinese are and how litigious we are!
